Elena Sale | Artistic Direction

Musician and passionate about art in all its forms of expression and research, Elena Sale began her career as a clarinetist in 2013, debuting as a soloist with the Orchestra dei Pomeriggi Musicali in Milan. Over the years, Elena has received several awards: finalist for the Royal Concertgebouw Orkest Academy, winner of the audition for First Clarinet at the Orchestra of the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, for the Verbier Festival Orchestra and as Co-Principal Clarinet at the Opera Ballet Vlaanderen in Ghent. Graduated at the Conservatory Giuseppe Verdi in Milan with the highest marks and honors, in 2019 Elena gets a scholarship at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music in London, obtaining the Master of Arts with mention and diploma of merit. Subsequently, she studied at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano, attending the Master of Arts in Music Performance. As a great fan of performing arts and intrigued by everything that happens behind the scenes, in 2022 she was admitted to the Master in Performing Arts Management of the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala, in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano – Graduate School of Management and Piccolo Teatro di Milano – Teatro d’Europa. From September 2023, she collaborates with the Artistic Direction departments of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan
